Berkeley Cottage Garden
This design is a California lush garden, featuring a variety of annual to evergreen plants that provide year-round, interest, and year-round blooms. This garden was designed to beckon pollinators and support the Local ecosystem with almost all native plants. There are some exceptions chosen for their beauty and seasonal interest, all the plants are carefully chosen to be adapted to this garden’s microclimate.
What does California lush mean? This means a cottage garden style Landscape featuring plants that are low water, but with lots of blooms and evergreen foliage. You get the best of both worlds: a garden that looks and feels vibrant while conserving water and being appropriate for our California climate.
I created this concept plan while working as the lead designer at Sustain with Me Landscapes.
