Berkeley Backyard Food Forest
This Berkeley backyard food forest design was for a client that wanted to maximize the amount of food they could grow in their urban backyard. I was delighted to help them create a mini urban Homestead, maximizing their food sovereignty. Well also creating a space for them to sit back and enjoy the garden with friends. This concept design features a large decomposed granite patio with a fire pit, surrounded by fruit trees, berries, and pollinator, friendly flowers. I created this design while working as the lead designer at Sustain with Me Landscapes. It is currently being constructed and I can’t wait to see the results!
