East Bay Entryway Garden

This project is located in Orinda California. The client wanted a garden design with drought tolerant and deer resistant plants that would look beautiful all year long. They also wanted some evergreen plants to help screen parts of their house. This garden and view of their home is the first thing you see when you drive up to the property, so creating something vibrant and inviting was essential.

This design features 100% native plants that support local pollinators such as native bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds. The plants were chosen so that There are at least some flowers blooming year-round, providing food and habitat to pollinators. I did this design while working as the lead designer for Sustain with Me Landscapes, and I’m excited to see them install it!
